St. Mary’s Glacier Metropolitan (Metro) District
The Metro District takes care of many of St. Mary’s roads. This includes plowing during the winter and grading in the summer.

Meetings are regularly held on the third Monday of each month at 6pm at the Alice Schoolhouse (271 Silver Creek Road)

Plowing Operations
Plowing operations are 5am-8pm and after a minimum of 4 inches of snow has fallen.
Please remove any vehicles and other items from roadway to facilitate operations. The easier you make it for the plows, the faster they will be able to address all roads.
Plowing staff will always do their best but cannot guarantee that all vehicles will be able to travel at all times.
Effort will be made to minimize the creation of berms at the end of driveways, but it is not possible to eliminate them altogether.
