Boards
There are several volunteer-based boards that operate in the St. Mary’s Glacier community, including the St. Mary’s Property Owners’ Association, St. Mary’s Glacier Water & Sanitation District, St. Mary’s Glacier Metropolitan District, and the Silver Lake Condominium Association.
St. Mary’s Property Owners’ Association (POA)
According to the POA Bylaws, The goals of the Association shall be:
1. To be an advisory group to the district and the county entities involved.
2. To provide recreational and social activities to all members of the Association.
3. To protect and preserve the natural and man-made environments of the area.
4. To provide architectural control through the enforcement of the covenants and to enforce environmental control through proper rules and regulations.
5. To administer the fishing program for Silver Lake and Lake Quivira.
St. Mary’s Glacier Water & Sanitation District
“At St. Mary's Glacier Water & Sanitation District (SMGWSD), we are committed to providing safe, high quality water services to our community, while maintaining a standard of excellence in customer service and environmental conservation.”
St. Mary’s Glacier Metropolitan (Metro) District
“At St Mary's Metropolitan District, we are committed to maintaining the roads and providing recreation in the neighborhoods of Alice and Winterland.”
Silver Lake Condominium Association (SLCA)
This is a group for residents and owners of the Silver Lake Condominiums in St. Mary’s.
