According to the POA Bylaws, the goals of the Association shall be:
1. To be an advisory group to the district and the county entities involved.
2. To provide recreational and social activities to all members of the Association.
3. To protect and preserve the natural and man-made environments of the area.
4. To provide architectural control through the enforcement of the covenants and to enforce
environmental control through proper rules and regulations.
5. To administer the fishing program for Silver Lake and Lake Quivira.
Meetings are regularly held on the third Monday of each month at 7pm at the Alice Schoolhouse (271 Silver Creek Road).

All St. Mary's, Alice, and Winterland property owners are invited to join the POA. Annual Membership Dues in the amount of $50 entitle a member and their family to purchase fishing and watercraft badges, and to participate in the various activities and community projects sponsored by the POA each year.

St. Mary’s Glacier Property Owners’ Association (POA) sponsors the annual Community Dumpster Days. It typically takes place at the Alice Schoolhouse (271 Silver Creek Road). Clean up your property and the community.
Get your favorite costume on and join the annual hayride around the St. Mary’s Community. Residents can make their houses as spooky as they’d like for the kids to visit. Candy is highly encouraged.
Afterwards, there’s an adult party at the schoolhouse. BYOB.
The POA also sponsors a holiday lights contest. Participating houses are announced for all to visit and see. Some even offer drinks and snacks! Winners are announced shortly after the holidays.
